Dinamit retains heavyweight title after two-round win

British boxer Daniel Dubois won the WBA heavyweight title after defeating his compatriot Fábio Wardley in the second round of their match in London. Dubois began the confrontation with an early barrage and knocked Wardley down 17 seconds into the first round, leading to the fight being stopped after continued assault in the second round and Wardley's trainer throwing in the towel. This victory served as revenge for Dubois after his first loss to Wardley in their initial encounter in May, and it raised his professional record to 24 wins and 3 losses. Meanwhile, Wardley's record now stands at 20 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. After the win, Dubois faces a challenge from Croatian Filip Hrgović to defend the title, while Wardley aims to recover and return to the competition despite the defeat.
