Messi and Suarez integrate with a third duo
The match between the American team Inter Miami, which they won 4-0 against D.C. United, witnessed a repeat of the double goals scored by the Argentine star Lionel Messi and the Uruguayan Luis Suárez, with each of them scoring two goals for the third time in their joint careers. This duo first achieved this feat in November 2015 with Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League, then repeated it in September 2018 with Barcelona in La Liga, and once again with Inter Miami in today's game. This reflects the ongoing collaboration between the players since the beginning of their friendship in 2014 and up to their return to participating together with the American team in early 2024.
