Inzaghi: Saudi Player Should Lead
Italian Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Al Hilal, praised his team’s performance after their 3-2 victory over Al Ittihad in the eighth round of the Saudi Pro League, confirming that his team was capable of scoring more goals than they did. Inzaghi emphasized the importance of selecting a captain from among the Saudi players and explained the mechanism for distributing the captain’s armband, which was assigned to Nasser Al-Dosari, while confirming that the armband should be given to a Saudi player according to the club’s internal policy. He also praised the performance of English striker Oli Watkins, who showed good integration with the team despite missing several weeks. The victory raised Al Hilal’s points tally to 21, returning them to the top of the table with a two-point lead over Al Qadsia and Al Nasser.
