Laj: Walid's role minor, our chances higher

Portuguese coach Bruno Laj, the head coach of Al Durainya, revealed that the decision to exclude goalkeeper Nikola Vasile during the match against Al Nassr was due to the latter's injury, not for technical reasons. He pointed out that his team created more scoring opportunities than Al Nassr but failed to capitalize on them. Laj also stated that Al Nassr deserved to win with three goals, expressing his disappointment at conceding goals in an unacceptable manner, despite noting that his players adhered to the plan and performed well. He clarified that the team's strategy was clear and focused on balancing attack and defense. Laj rejected any statements suggesting a repeated defensive approach, indicating that Waleed Abdullah's participation was due to Vasile's minor injury. After the loss, the team's points remained at 11.
