Cardiff Stadium Seeks Special Permit

The big showdown between British boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua in the heavyweight division will take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on December 12. The event organizers are requesting an exceptional permit from the city council to extend the stadium's closing time until 3:30 a.m., including permission to serve alcohol and host musical performances until then. This fight is considered one of the biggest events in British boxing history and will be broadcast on Netflix. Ticket sales began on Friday. Cardiff was chosen as the venue after other stadiums, such as Wembley in London, failed to provide the late-night hours desired by the audience, especially in North America.
