Bayern Munich faces surprise issue in Dembélé contract talks

Bayern Munich is facing difficulty in convincing French star Michael Oulissi to renew his contract, despite his current deal expiring in June 2029. The uncertainty stems from his unclear desire to stay and his wish to include a clause allowing him to leave under certain conditions. The club is prepared to offer him a new contract until 2032, with a salary exceeding his highest earnings so far. However, the club's management requires a clear resolution from the player by next summer, especially considering the interest from major clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool, who are monitoring his situation as well. Oulissi joined Bayern in 2024 for €53 million and has performed notably with the team, scoring 50 goals and providing 58 assists in 114 matches, winning five domestic titles. The future remains uncertain for now, and next summer could be a pivotal moment in determining his fate.
