Abdel Massih questions previous extension reasons

According to Deputy Adib Abdul Massih, the main reason behind his proposal to delay the parliamentary elections by one year, until February 2026, is that the countries have not yet completed their efforts to establish control over all Lebanese territory, especially asserting authority over illegal weapons, reducing the war, and allowing residents of the South to return to their villages, in addition to the withdrawal of Israel. Abdul Massih expresses concern that ongoing neglect could lead to a prolonged extension, emphasizing that these reasons still persist to this day, and that there may be an underlying intention to extend the term of the parliamentary council further.
