Lebanese security sources reported the discovery of a tunnel in the Matn al-Shamali area, approximately 10 to 13 meters long. No weapons or military equipment were found inside the tunnel. Authorities confirmed that the individual suspected of involvement in digging the tunnel has been detained. They also stated that the tunnel was not used for military purposes or smuggling, and that the authorities will work to close it. The reports did not mention any direct connection between the tunnel discovery and Hezbollah, but investigations are ongoing to determine the purpose of its construction.
