Blast at Baghdad PMF storage

The article discusses an explosion at an ammunition depot located within a Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) base in Baghdad. The explosion took place inside one of their headquarters in the eastern part of the city, with no human casualties reported so far. Reports indicate that the blast caused a large amount of smoke to rise, and this incident is part of a pattern of repeated explosions and fires at arms depots and bases across Iraq since the emergence of the PMF in 2014. The PMF comprises armed groups loyal to Tehran that carry out attacks against American interests. These explosions are often part of covert operations and have occurred amid rising tensions between Iran and the United States, with mutual accusations and a relatively calm stance regarding the causes of these incidents.
