Katz alleges Iran meddling in elections

Israeli Security Minister Yisrael Katz accused Iran and its allies of seeking to carry out attacks aimed at influencing the upcoming Israeli elections. He affirmed that Israel would respond forcefully to any attack, whether before or after the elections. Katz did not specify the nature of the threats or the parties involved but emphasized the importance of internal unity and coordination with the military and security agencies to confront these threats. He issued a clear warning to any entity that might target Israel, stating that those who attack Israel will pay the price. His comments come amid rising security warnings as the election date approaches, at a time when Israeli officials are focusing on military readiness and deterrence against potential attacks.
