Coalition Hits Sana'a and Hodeidah

The confrontation between the Arab coalition supporting the Yemeni government and the Houthis has escalated, with airstrikes targeting Sanaa and Hodeidah, and mutual warnings regarding vital facilities in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. The coalition carried out strikes on the oil company in Sanaa and the Ras Issa area in Hodeidah, and urged civilians to evacuate critical sites in Yemen. Meanwhile, the group threatened to target locations in Riyadh, including oil facilities and King Khalid Airport, if Sanaa is attacked. The United States also issued travel alerts to its citizens regarding Saudi Arabia. Amid regional and international support for Saudi Arabia’s right to defend its security, the Gulf Cooperation Council condemned the Houthi attacks and expressed solidarity with Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the Turkish president voiced his country's support for Saudi Arabia following the escalation.
