Dortmund Unable to Sign Sherki Due to Viewpoints

The completion of Ryan Cherki's transfer to Borussia Dortmund was delayed due to internal disagreements among its officials, despite the club's interest in signing the player from Olympique Lyon during the summers of 2024 and 2025. No official offer was made because of disagreements within the club, and ultimately, the player chose to extend his contract with Lyon before transferring to Manchester City for 40 million euros in 2025, where he is currently playing until 2030. This season, he has scored five goals and provided two assists in nine official matches.
