Marquis Meets SACEM on Copyright

The Minister of Information, Lawyer Dr. Paul Marcus, received a delegation from SACEM led by Cécile Rab-Veber to discuss the protection of author rights in Lebanon and to strengthen cooperation with relevant authorities. The meeting addressed the measures taken by SACEM to preserve intellectual property rights, as well as coordination with Lebanese ministries, authors, composers, and music publishers. During the meeting, the minister also received a symbolic music piece in the form of a commemorative shield on this occasion.
