Gold falls as dollar rises to $4,128
Gold prices declined today, Tuesday, due to the strengthening dollar and rising US Treasury yields, coupled with a decrease in expectations of Federal Reserve interest rate hikes. The spot price fell to approximately $4,128.69 per ounce, while US gold futures rose to around $4,156. Despite the decline, losses remained limited as expectations for a rate hike this month diminished, leading to gold prices stabilizing near their lowest levels in more than seven weeks.
