Russian gas to Serbia extended

It has been decided to extend the supply of natural gas from Russia to Serbia for an additional three months until the end of the year, following the expiration of the original contract on September 30, 2026. According to Dusan Bayatovic, the Russian company Gazprom has renewed the agreement with terms similar to those of the previous contract, aiming to ensure the continuity of energy flow without significant changes. Serbia is one of Russia's prominent partners in Eastern Europe in the gas sector and relies heavily on Russian supplies to meet its needs, reflecting a long-term strategic relationship between the two countries, especially in the energy sector.
