Karami Signs Deal as France Grants 4 Million Euros

Lebanese Minister of Education Rima Krami and the President of the Center for Educational Research and Development, Professor Hiam Issa, together with French Ambassador Patrick Durel, announced a funding of 4 million euros to support educational curriculum reform in Lebanon. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of public education, foster innovation, and promote inclusion within the educational system. The support comes from the French Development Agency and seeks to modernize educational programs by focusing on critical thinking skills, adapting to global changes, and strengthening digital and social integration. The goal is to better prepare students to face future challenges by emphasizing education quality rather than mere school enrollment. The reform intends to improve the learning experience and equip students with the tools necessary to build a more sustainable and autonomous future, in light of the ongoing challenges faced by Lebanon.
