Israeli Incidents Near Aita al-Jabal
Early in the morning, Israeli aircraft launched a series of airstrikes targeting towns in southern Lebanon, including Al-Mansouri, Aita Al-Jabal, and Beit Yahun, resulting in the destruction of homes and specific targets. Israeli forces also carried out explosions on the outskirts of Aita Al-Jabal and Bir Ashit, and a Merkava tank fired shells at homes in Bir Ashit. Intermittent artillery shelling targeted several areas such as Hadatha, Kfartbenny, and Zouwtar Al-Sharqi. These operations are part of an Israeli military escalation in the region amid worsening security conditions in southern Lebanon.
