Captagon concealed in child's bed for smuggling into Saudi Arabia

Lebanese security forces were able to thwart an attempt to smuggle 4.5 kilograms of Captagon pills, which were expertly hidden inside a child's bed and destined for Saudi Arabia, after intercepting the package at the airport. Additionally, another 6.5 kilograms of the same drugs, intended for smuggling into Kuwait and also concealed inside children's beds, were seized. A Lebanese individual was arrested in Beirut, and two others were apprehended in Kuwait in coordination with Kuwaiti authorities. Investigations are currently ongoing to identify all those involved and to take the necessary legal measures.
