Iraqi PM Calls for Boosting Ties and Islamic Products Platform

During his meeting with the heads of delegations from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Baghdad, Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Falah Al-Zaydi emphasized the importance of strengthening ties among Islamic peoples and unifying the Islamic stance and discourse to confront the challenges facing the nation, especially concerning Gaza. He also pointed out that the Muslim world possesses vast human and natural resources and holds 70% of the world's energy; however, it has not fully exploited these resources. He called for the creation of a platform for the products of member states. Additionally, he stressed the need for cooperation in energy security, drug prevention, and achieving integration among industrial regions, with a focus on enhancing the shared security of Islamic countries.
