India's fuel exports to West rise 43%

Despite the European Union's imposed ban on importing refined petroleum products from Russian crude, exports of petroleum products from refineries in India, Turkey, and Brunei to European countries increased by 43% in September 2026, reaching nearly one billion euros (approximately 1.2 billion dollars). India's imports of Russian oil decreased by 13% during the same period, but it remained the second-largest importer of Russian fuel, valued at 4.1 billion euros.
