During her meeting with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Tonga, the United Arab Emirates reaffirmed its keenness to strengthen bilateral relations in the fields of economy, trade, tourism, and development, in a way that serves mutual interests and promotes sustainable development, security, and stability. The two sides discussed ways to cooperate in the education sector and topics of mutual interest during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Additionally, the meetings with foreign ministers from other countries, such as Brunei Darussalam, the Maldives, and Nepal, explored opportunities to enhance collaboration in energy, artificial intelligence, economic development, and cultural exchange. They also addressed preparations for the 2026 Water Conference, hosted by the UAE, aimed at addressing water challenges and supporting the sustainable management of global water resources.
