Tunisia Car Sales Increase 13.8%

The car market in Tunisia experienced growth during the first eight months of 2026, with vehicle sales increasing by 13.78% to approximately 70,000 cars, compared to 61,500 cars in the same period of 2025. The National Chamber of Car Dealers and Manufacturers stated that authorized car dealers sold around 47,000 vehicles, an 11.69% increase from the previous year, representing two-thirds of the market. Additionally, sales in the parallel market saw even greater growth, rising by 18.31% to about 23,000 cars, which contributed to increasing its share of the total market to 33%.
