First energy recovery devices plant in Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Water Authority has announced the establishment of the world's first factory outside the United States for manufacturing energy recovery devices, an important technology in improving the efficiency of desalination plants and reducing energy consumption. The company "Energy Recovery" will operate the factory in Saudi Arabia with an annual production capacity of 2,000 devices, to meet the local demand of approximately 1,200 units and to export 40% to the Gulf, African, and Asian markets.
