Farwell Trial: Birchmore Therapist Testifies

A court hearing detailed allegations against former police detective Matthew Farwell, accused of grooming and sexually exploiting Sandra Birchmore starting when she was 15. Witnesses testified that Birchmore, who later became pregnant, believed Farwell was the father and was concerned about her pregnancy and mental health prior to her death by suspected strangulation. The prosecution suggests Farwell's actions amounted to ongoing abuse and exploitation, while the defense attributes Birchmore’s death to her mental health struggles.
