Lake Mead murder victim identified after 40 years

Las Vegas authorities have identified a decades-old murder victim, Edward Lelburian Jackson, whose remains were found in a barrel in Lake Mead in 2022. Jackson, an Arkansas man in his 50s, was shot in the early 1980s, and his identity was confirmed through advanced genetic profiling. The discovery revives suspicions of mob-related violence, though investigators have not confirmed a direct link to organized crime.
