Cornell 7 accuser recounts self-harm before frat assault
A student at Cornell University claimed she was gang-raped by fraternity members after a ritualized cutting incident earlier in August 2024. In her police statement, she described feeling isolated when a fraternity brother referenced her scars but did not ask about them. The incident has reignited discussions on sexual violence and fraternity culture at the university.
