Arizona State cheerleader assaulted by police

A viral video shows Arizona State University student Eryn Bonner being violently restrained and assaulted by police during her July arrest in Tempe after she intervened in an arrest. Bonner faces two misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct and interfering with police, while authorities declined to pursue felony charges. Her family and attorney have condemned the police actions, alleging excessive force and inappropriate conduct, calling for the officer involved to be fired.
