Green Party supports Zionism is racism debate

The Green Party in the UK adopted a motion at their Brighton conference describing Zionism as a form of racism, which Israel condemned and subsequently banned Green Party leader Zack Polanski from entering the country. The motion, endorsed by a majority of members, criticizes Zionism and advocates for a single democratic Palestinian state, causing divisions within the party and drawing criticism from Jewish groups and political opponents. Polanski did not vote on the motion and has expressed concerns about its wording, but the party reaffirmed its commitment to opposing all forms of racism.
