A series of bomb reports involving civilian aircraft disrupted European air traffic on Thursday, prompting flight diversions and the scrambling of fighter jets to escort some planes. The alerts involved four aircraft bound for Prague, as well as flights that landed or were diverted in Romania, Italy, Austria and France. Three Ryanair flights were also forced to land in Sofia. It was the third consecutive day of such reports, following disruption to around 10 flights on Tuesday and the temporary closure of Warsaw Airport. Searches announced by authorities found no explosives.
