Rezaei claims Hormuz win
Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei said Iran had defeated Donald Trump strategically in the Strait of Hormuz and politically in Washington, warning that anyone who challenges Iran will pay the price. Rezaei linked his remarks to the Republicans’ defeat in the US midterm elections. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said voters had expressed their rejection of the war, while Trump acknowledged that the Iran issue was one of the factors behind his party’s loss.
