Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi instructed the government to implement the recommendations of the 2026 Forum and publish them on the forum’s website, along with a timeline and performance indicators to track progress. The directives included expanding efforts to nurture young people and engage youth, highlighting the achievements of talented individuals, and establishing a sustainable system of AI-powered digital services and communication for people who are deaf or hard of hearing. They also called for providing vocational training, employment opportunities, and religious education services in sign language. El-Sisi stressed that turning the forum’s outcomes into tangible results for citizens is his primary goal.
