The Saudi-led coalition announced on Friday that it had intercepted and destroyed two drones and a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis toward the kingdom. One drone targeted the Riyadh region, while the missile was headed for the southern region. The coalition said the other drone was heading toward Mecca. The Houthis denied targeting Mecca, saying they had not carried out an operation toward the Saudi interior that day. The announcement came amid an escalation in the confrontation between the two sides and continued exchanges of attacks, with no clear signs that a ceasefire is imminent.
