China calls on US to end trade barriers
China has called on the United States to cease obstructing normal economic and commercial cooperation between companies, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the principles of a market economy and maintaining the stability of global industrial and supply chains. The remarks came in response to reports about a proposal by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to classify biotechnology technology as a restricted technology, which China considers discriminatory and detrimental to free trade. China has stated that it will take the necessary measures to protect its interests.
