Israel frees 9 Gaza Palestinians after detention
Israel has released nine Palestinians from the Gaza Strip after their detention during the genocidal war on the territory, during which they were subjected to torture in its prisons, according to their testimonies. The prisoners arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis via the International Red Cross Committee, after spending periods in harsh conditions. Currently, the number of Palestinian prisoners in the occupation's prisons is estimated at around 9,350 individuals, including 350 children and 90 women. They are subjected to torture and medical neglect, which has led to the deaths of dozens of them. Since the start of the war in October 2023, the clashes have resulted in the death of more than 74,000 Palestinians and injury to over 175,000, while approximately 90% of the infrastructure in Gaza has been destroyed.
