Iran aims to undermine Trump before elections
Sources have revealed that Iran is seeking to prolong negotiations with the United States in order to weaken the political stance of American President Donald Trump ahead of the upcoming Congress elections in November. Tehran intends to exploit the negotiation period to reduce the chances of any breakthroughs, especially given concerns about the potential resumption of military operations and Iran’s refusal to make concessions, all aimed at preventing Trump from achieving a political victory in the upcoming elections. This comes amid an Iranian escalation involving preparations for new attacks, with relations deteriorating and pressure on Iran increasing due to the blockade and economic sanctions.
