Champions League Insights: Enrique on Barcelona and Paris streak
Paris Saint-Germain achieved an important victory over Barcelona with a score of 4-2 in the UEFA Champions League, reinforcing their impressive record and extending their unbeaten streak in the competition to 13 consecutive matches. They also secured three wins in their first three group stage games, including a 4-2 victory over Manchester City. Coach Luis Enrique praised Barcelona's strong performance, describing the opponent as one of the highest levels, and emphasized that the win was a result of solid defensive work and advanced pressing. He highlighted the team's high adaptability within matches. Despite the victory, Enrique warned against the notion that his team is the best or holds an absolute advantage, stressing the importance of avoiding overconfidence. The team demonstrated a balance between offensive and defensive capabilities. However, injuries were a negative aspect, as three key players left the field injured. This win remains part of a successful series for Paris, marking their third victory out of three matches in this season's Champions League, and continuing their 13th consecutive season without a loss.
