Sevilla Criticizes La Liga Over Madrid Match
The article focused on Sevilla's official protest against the Spanish League Association due to the television production methods of their match against Real Madrid, which took place on October 18 at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The club objected to equal treatment of controversial footage, such as potential penalty situations, elbow strikes, and previous fouls, which did not receive sufficient analysis or appeared from unclear angles in the match broadcast. Additionally, Sevilla rejected the standards established by La Liga for controlling filming and broadcasting processes, demanding transparency by revealing protocols and evidence, and requesting a review of all original recordings of relevant footage to ensure transparency and integrity in media coverage. The club also stated that it will pursue legal action if its demands are not met and expressed disagreement with the current standards set by the refereeing commission regarding how contentious moments in the match are handled.
