Al-Fajr Yemen Expands Strikes on Houthis
Violent clashes continue in the Yemeni city of Taiz between government forces and the popular resistance on one side, and the Houthis on the other. The group carried out attacks on the Shuqab and Jabal Sabir fronts, accompanied by intensive shelling of the surrounding villages. Yemeni forces managed to repel the attacks and prevent the Houthis from advancing, while also making progress in areas such as Asnamat and Asrari. Wide-ranging targeting operations were conducted, resulting in the neutralization of hundreds of Houthi fighters and the destruction of numerous vehicles. Operations also focus on tightening the siege on Taiz and targeting Houthi supply sources, amid political and international calls to designate the group as a terrorist organization and to lift the siege on the city. Military and political pressures continue in efforts to stabilize the region.
