Four Sudanese killed in Khartoum drone strikes
Three children were killed and a man was injured in drone attacks targeting the Nasser extension area east of Khartoum today, during an armed conflict between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces that has been ongoing since April 2023. The conflict has resulted in thousands of deaths and the displacement of millions. The drones belonging to the Rapid Support Forces targeted the area in the morning, causing the deaths of the children and the injury of a man. Meanwhile, two suicide drones were shot down near Khartoum Airport, with no damage to the airport or other targets, according to the army. Human rights organizations condemned the attacks and called for an end to targeting populated areas, as well as for independent investigations.
