Mohammed Ali bin Ramadan recalls frightening day at Al-Ahli
Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan, a former player of Al-Shamal Qatar and Al Ahly, revealed a serious experience during the Al Ahly training camp in Tunisia. He saved his life and that of his teammates after they faced the danger of drowning in the sea. One day during a rest period, he, along with Hussein El Shahat and Karim Foad, went swimming, and suddenly they were swept inland by the current. Karim Foad was on the verge of drowning, and Hussein El Shahat intervened to help him, but soon found himself in a dangerous situation as well. Yasser Ibrahim quickly stepped in and rushed to save them, which saved their lives and led to a profound shock for all involved. Ben Ramadan also spoke about his reasons for leaving Al Ahly, explaining that he didn’t get the full opportunity to prove himself at the club. His move to Al-Shamal came driven by a desire to participate more and develop as a player, and he praised the club's sports project. He mentioned that his transfer occurred after just one season with Al Ahly, during which he played 36 matches, scored 2 goals, and provided 4 assists. He clarified that his decision was based on athletic ambition rather than financial gain.
