Trabzon Gives Salah Shirt to Egyptian PM
During his visit to the "Turathuna 2026" exhibition, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly received a gift: a Trabzonspor Turkish club shirt bearing the name Mohamed Salah, the captain of the Egyptian national team. This gift was from the Turkish pavilion at the exhibition, as a gesture of appreciation for the star who joined the club last August with the number 61, symbolizing the Turkish city of Trabzon. Salah is also a focal point of widespread interest in the city, where a street near his home has been named after him, and a large mural has been painted in his honor. The city is aware that Salah scored a goal and provided an assist in his first match with his team, helping them secure a 4-2 victory over Konyaspor, ahead of an upcoming match against Beşiktaş.
