WFP halts Gaza aid over funding shortfall
The United Nations World Food Programme announced that a lack of funding has led to it stopping food aid for around 500,000 people in the Gaza Strip. It also reduced the number of beneficiaries receiving monthly assistance from 1.6 million to 1.1 million. The program emphasized that the food health situation in the area is fragile, and with winter approaching, the lives of the residents are at risk.
