Trump backs Netanyahu in Israeli votes
Donald Trump announced his full and unconditional support for Netanyahu ahead of the Israeli legislative elections scheduled for October 27. Trump expressed his belief that Netanyahu has led Israel as an exceptional leader and has been involved in efforts to make peace, while former Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot stated that Israelis alone choose their leader, respecting Trump's support. Netanyahu, who is campaigning for re-election after years of conflicts, is seeking a new mandate amid an Israeli escalation in the region and a coalition with the United States against Iran.
