Israeli settlers clash with farmers and Europeans in West Bank
Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian farmers in various areas across the West Bank, including assaults on farmers during their olive harvests and attacks on homes and farms in villages such as Deir Dubwan, Aqraba, Jamma'in, Marda, Yasouf, and Kafr Malek. Settlers also targeted European diplomatic delegations attempting to reach the village of Al-Tiba, smashing vehicle windows and assaulting the diplomats, resulting in injuries and international protests. Farmers were pursued, hit with vehicles, robbed of equipment, and clashed with Israeli soldiers who used tear gas and bullets, causing injuries among Palestinians. These attacks are attributed to the Israeli settlement system, which the Palestinian Authority considers part of ongoing policies aimed at displacing Palestinian lands and threatening residents' lives, with international calls for protection and guarantees for civilians and diplomats.
