Marèska Sets Historic Record with City
Manchester City achieved a historic start in the Premier League under the leadership of their coach Enzo Mariska, winning their first 7 matches in the competition. This makes him the first manager in the league's history to reach this feat. With this, City matched their best start to a league season, recorded since 1897-1898, and is one of the top three clubs to begin a season with a perfect record of 7 wins in the league era. Additionally, the team raised its points total to 21 after 7 matches, surpassing Arsenal by 6 points. Haaland scored 8 goals this season, including his 100th league goal in 139 matches, making him the fastest player in the history of the competition to reach this milestone.
