Ben Gvir claims Netanyahu sidelines him
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of planning to oust him from the next government and replace him with Gad Eizenkot, while Netanyahu confirmed that the Defense Ministry will remain under Likud's control, increasing the likelihood of Ben-Gvir's removal. Ben-Gvir is demanding the Defense Ministry and warns against distributing ministerial posts before election results are known. Meanwhile, he is seeking to appoint a Minister of Justice with the aim of dismissing the legal advisor and reducing the powers of the Public Prosecution.
