Syria Denounces Druze Exploitation in Israel
The article focused on the Syrian government's rejection of exploiting the Druze component in the Sweida Governorate in Israeli propaganda and electoral campaigns, emphasizing that Israel is supporting an illegal militia to stir chaos in the region. The statement also pointed out that Syrians, including the Druze, are an integral part of the national fabric, and that Israeli intervention aims to destabilize the country and ignite widespread conflict, especially after the July 2025 events that saw clashes and escalations among various parties. Damascus confirmed that it has succeeded in foiling foreign plots, continues to work with partners to achieve stability, and called on the international community to bear its responsibilities to stop Israeli interference in Syria.
