Sisi affirms constitution integrity
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi affirmed that Egypt is committed to the constitution that has been approved, and that no one will tamper with it. He emphasized that confronting attempts to target the country—whether from within through psychological warfare and undermining national victories or from abroad—is a shared responsibility between the people and institutions. He explained that the challenge in the October 1973 War was to reclaim occupied Sinai, whereas today the challenges involve attempts to undermine national awareness and distort facts through media tools and social media platforms. Sisi warned of a disinformation campaign aimed at destabilizing the country, reaffirming Egypt's commitment to protecting its national security and its constitution. He called for societal efforts to strengthen national awareness. Additionally, he emphasized Egypt’s support for Gulf states and the security of the region as a whole, in line with shared strategic interests.
