Turkish Defense: Israel's actions heighten regional tensions
The Turkish Ministry of Defense criticizes Israel's aggressive approach in the region, including ongoing raids in southern Syria, arrests, border violations, and airstrikes. It also emphasizes that Israel’s expansion of roads and trench digging as part of the "Sufa-53" project constitutes a violation of the 1974 disengagement agreement and points to expansionist policies. Turkey called on the international community to take firm action to halt Israel’s practices, which hinder the achievement of peace and stability in the region. On the defense front, Turkey discussed with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan the enhancement of military cooperation and regional stability through the Mecca Agreement, as well as improving collaboration in defense and military industries.
