Bochum bans fan stadium jumps
German club Bochum has decided to ban its supporters from jumping simultaneously on the stands of the "Rewirpowerstadion" starting October 11, due to the impact of the jumping movement on the health and comfort of some fans. This decision comes after an inspection of the stadium's structure, which confirmed its ability to bear the loads. The ban, which may last until 2028, is part of a plan to upgrade the eastern stand, which is set to be renovated as part of the project, with the aim of utilizing its full capacity of 26,000 spectators and avoiding long-term planning issues.
